James Eade

James Eade has written several books about chess, including the best-selling Chess for Dummies. As a former president of the Chess Journalists of America (CJA), he has been the editor of two chess journals. As a player, he was awarded the title of Chess Master by the USCF in 1981 and by FIDE in 1993. He lives with his wife in Menlo Park, California.
