Ein exzellentes Repertoirebuch, das den Vier-Bauern-Angriff (1.d4 Sf6 2.c4 g6 3.Sc3 Lg7 4.e4 d6 5.f4 0-0 6.Sf3), in dem mit harten Bandagen gekämpft wird, als Möglichkeit für Weiß betrachtet, die Initiative gegen Königsindisch zu übernehmen. Als einer der führenden Experten dieser Variante sagt Vaisser: ”Warum sollte Schwarz den ganzen Spaß haben?” und zeigt viele seiner eigenen Partien und neue Angriffsideen. Er konzentriert sich hauptsächlich auf die Hauptvarianten nach 6... c5 7.d5 e6 8.Le2 exd5 9.cxd5, obwohl er selbst mit Schwarz eine seiner bekanntesten Partien mit der dubiosen Variante 9.e5?! im Jahre 1981 gegen Kasparov verlor. Das moderne 6...Sa6 wird ebenso behandelt wie die kompromißlose Taimanov-Variante (7.f4 nebst 8.Lb5+ gegen Modernes Benoni), die das ganze System zu einer furchteinflößenden Waffe für angriffslustige 1.d4-Spieler werden läßt.
