Autor Gary Lane hat "Find the Winning Move" als Nachfolger für sein Einsteigerbuch "Find the Checkangelegt: Der Leser findet die insgesamt über 400 (!) Aufgaben in verschiedene Kapitel unterteilt vor, wobei Lane zu jedem Thema eine Einführung mit mehreren kommenBeispielen gibt.
Danach folgen die zahlreichen Übungsaufgaben, zu denen Lane stets noch einige hilfreiche Anmerkungen liefert. Wer trotzdem nicht auf die Lösung kommt kann noch in einem anschließenden Abschnitt weitere Tipps einsehen, bevor im Lösungsteil dann die richtigen Antworten besprowerden.
Das Niveau der Aufgaben, die übrigens zumeist aus sehr aktuellen Partien stammen, ist sicher nicht allzu hoch und dürfte die eingangs angeSpielerschicht gut bedieAls Motivationshilfe bietet Lane zudem noch eine Punktevergabe mit abschließender Leistungskontrolle an.
