The Reti opening has been quite popular in the most recent years. In the "Modernized Reti", Adrien explains how this subtle opening needs to be handled. With many transpositions into different types of positions, it is one of the richest choices White has when starting the game. If you are looking for a refined, positional and dynamic way to play as White, Adrien will show you the way in his first book for Thinkers Publishing!

Adrien Demuth , currently rated 2543, is a grandmaster belonging to the youngest French chess generation. He was born and raised in La Reunion. He learned chess when he was seven in Tahiti. Once back in France, he was frequently selected for the French Youth Team. He received his two titles (IM in 2011, and GM in 2015) during his studies, achieving also his degree of Master in Mathematics. He is a chess professional, trainer, player and author. In 2016 he was one of the seconds of the French team at the Olympiad in Baku and the World Youth Championships. We remember his most famous result with his win of the Paris Championships in 2013 and by beating the former World Champion V. Anand in Gibraltar 2016. This is his first book and Thinkers Publishing is proud to present his modernized Reti's ideas and analysis.
