Chess Informant 87 brings together a thoroughly refined selection of 493 annotated games and 434 game fragments from the events held between February 1st, 2002 and May 31st, 2003 along with the trademark sections (the voting for the ten best games and the ten most important theoretical novelties from Chess Informant 86, theoretical survey in the ECO format, selected combinations and endings from recent tournament practice, tournament standings and crosstables, and the best from Bent Larsen's creative output).
CD Informant 87 will contain Chess Informant 86 (games without annotations), as a free supplement.
The following events are covered: Moscow, Reykjavík, Cappelle la Grande, Linares, Monaco (rapid), Dos Hermanas, Budapest, Poikovsky, Malmö/KÝbenhavn, La Habana, Sarajevo, etc.
